Course Overview: The Bachelor of Science in Interprofessional Healthcare is a comprehensive undergraduate program designed to prepare students for collaborative practice in diverse healthcare settings. Recognizing the importance of teamwork in healthcare delivery, this degree focuses on fostering collaborative skills, understanding roles and responsibilities across professions, and promoting patient-centered care.

Program Objectives:

Course Structure: The program spans over four years, divided into eight semesters, encompassing both theoretical coursework and practical experiences.

Year 1: Foundations of Healthcare, Anatomy & Physiology, Introduction to Interprofessional Education, Healthcare Communication.

Year 2: Healthcare Ethics, Pharmacology Basics, Collaborative Practice in Healthcare, Healthcare Systems & Policies.

Year 3: Clinical Decision Making, Patient Safety & Quality Improvement, Interprofessional Case Studies, Clinical Rotations in diverse healthcare settings.

Year 4: Advanced Interprofessional Practice, Leadership & Management in Healthcare, Research Methods in Interprofessional Healthcare, Capstone Project.

Practical Experiences: Students will participate in clinical rotations, shadowing professionals from various disciplines, and engage in simulation-based training. This hands-on experience will allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, facilitating interprofessional collaboration.
