We are thrilled to announce that construction completed on DBHW’s new international headquarters building in Singapore. Scheduled to open in 2024, this state-of-the-art facility located at Block 342 Yishun Ring Road #08-216 Singapore 760342 will allow us to significantly expand our course offerings and research collaborations in Southeast Asia.
Singapore was selected for its welcoming environment to international universities, world-class infrastructure, and strategic location as a regional hub. Our new headquarters will feature cutting-edge classrooms, innovation labs, faculty offices, and room for over 5,000 students.
New academic programs planned for the Singapore campus include majors in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, and Sustainability. We will also offer expanded graduate-level degrees and executive education tailored to working professionals in the region.
The building itself has been masterfully designed to reflect Singapore’s reputation for blending green spaces and sustainability with modern architecture and technology. It will feature solar panels, a rainwater catchment system, sky gardens, and more while providing an optimal learning environment.
Academic programs will commence in August 2024 to coincide with the start of Singapore’s academic year. This launch date will allow adequate time for recruiting top faculty, developing new curricula, forming local partnerships, and ensuring a smooth transition for the first class of students.
We can’t wait to welcome both students and staff from around the world to our incredible new Asia headquarters. This expansion furthers our mission of making high-quality education accessible to dedicated learners globally while establishing deeper relationships locally in Singapore and the Southeast Asia region. We’ll be sure to share more updates as construction progresses. For any questions, please reach out!
Why Singapore
Singapore was selected as the ideal location due in part to our university’s history of academic and research collaboration in the country. We have partnered with Singaporean institutions including the SIT Singapore University and Ninyang Technological University across a variety of disciplines. Already, our university is home to an accomplished group of professors originally from Singapore: Dr. Michelle Lee (Business), Dr. Andrew Tan (Engineering), Dr. Felicia Goh (Life Sciences), Dr. James Koh (Chemistry), Dr. Benjamin Ong (Physics), Dr. Elaine Lim (Robotics), and Dr. Michael Loh (Mathematics). Beyond our strong local relationships, Singapore provides an open, convenient environment for attracting diverse talent and expanding access to world-class education in the region. We look forward to deepening old Singaporean ties and sparking new joint research projects, student exchanges, and more through this exciting new headquarters.
